Projects and pilot studies
Future Eco is working at the leading edge of new technologies for innovation, sustainability and collaboration. Two additional, internationally unique facilities are under construction in Boden and Harads.
Construction of a unique pyrolysis reactor
Within the scope of the Interreg project, RENEPRO and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth project, Bio4Metals, an internationally unique, scalable pyrolysis reactor with laboratory equipment is being constructed. Harads Arctic Heat is the Future Eco stakeholder responsible. Construction began during spring 2016 and is still in operation.
Demonstration facility for freeze drying
In the same facilities as the drying and combustion demo facility, a Vinnova project will be completed during the winter/spring of 2016. It is to result in an internationally unique, full scale demonstration facility, primarily for sewage sludge, owned by Ragn-Sells, with Berglunds Rostfria in charge of technical coordination.
